By purc2hasing your ticket you agree to the following:
1. Scheduled Tour Time
- Please note that the nominated time for tour departure on ticket is the latest time we will accept arrival of clients
- For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all guests, venues and staff, latecomers will not be admitted. No refund or exchange is available for latecomers.
- Guests who do not show up for a Tour will not receive a refund.
2. Children
- Tour content at all our locations is of an adult nature, parental guidance is advised.
- The minimum guest age for most tours run by Outback Paranormal Tours is 16 years with parental supervision. Some Tours, such as the full Paranormal Investigations, are strictly 18+ years
- Tours which are appropriate for guests under the age of 16 years are clearly advertised as such.
- All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian over the age of 18.
- For guest comfort and safety, unaccompanied children, children under the minimum required age for each tour and babies and infants will not be admitted on tour.
3. Refund Policy
- Outback Paranormal Tours policy is "No refund or exchange". This includes any unanticipated situation a guest may find themselves in, such as booking the wrong date, accident, illness or natural disaster.
- In the rare circumstance that Outback Paranormal Tours cancel an Tour, a full refund or transfer to an alternate date will be offered. We cannot be held responsible for any transportation, accommodation, loss of earnings or any other associated costs the guest has incurred due to cancellation of our tours.
- Please do not ask for a refund or exchange, as refusal may offend.
4. Tours operate in various conditions
- Tours will run as planned in all weather conditions, excepting storm conditions. If the tour is to be cancelled, you will be notified as early as practical by Outback Paranormal Tours. You will be refunded or rescheduled to a similar tour where possible.
5. Bookings
- To keep tour prices low and ensure guests are serviced in the fairest manner, places cannot be held for tours without full payment.
- If a tentative booking is made, the place will be given to guests who makes full payment first.
- Bookings are not confirmed until full payment is received.
6. Delivery of tickets
- Once booked and paid, an email/SMS will be sent with all the information that you require to join the tour.
7. Clothing
- To ensure your safety, flat, comfortable, closed shoes and weather relevant clothing must be warn or admission may be refused. No thongs or heels to be worn.
- Please bring a hat and sunscreen for any daytime tour. Also bring appropriate warm clothes for night/winter tours.
8. Guest Conduct
- To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, any guest under the influence of alcohol or other substances may be refused admission without a refund.
- Any guest that does not follow tour guide instructions or behaves inappropriately towards tour guides, other guests and staff during a tour will be asked to leave the tour without a refund.
- Guests will participate in the tour with respect for the historical subjects of the tour. Disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave.
9. Equipment
- Guests are invited to bring along their own Investigation equipment (including, but not limited to, flashlights, EMF Readers, Spirit Boxes etc), to be used on the tour – however, Outback Paranormal Tours will in no way be held responsible for any damage or loss to the items that may occur during the tour.
- Outback Paranormal Tours will allow clients to use their Investigation equipment when on tour, however, any intentional loss or damage to equipment will incur replacement fees to be charged to the client.
- Please feel free to bring any paranormal equipment you may have, which is portable and hand-held. The bus nor locations will have power, so anything requiring a power-point to work is redundant.
- You are welcome to conduct your own investigation, or to join the Outback Paranormal Tour team members and investigate as a group. Just so long as you abide by the rules set out, you have free reign of the area designated to you. Please be aware that certain areas will be designated 'off limits' due to them being dangerous hazards.
- Please be considerate of other investigators and please use common sense. Do not make sounds or behave in a way as to interfere with other investigators. Treat the Tour bus and all locations as you would treat your own property, with respect.
10. Nature of the tours
- Tours contain content and stories that some participants may find distressing and confronting including but limited to suicide, murder, mistreatment of children, violence and loss of infancy and life. Therefore, only specific tours will be open to children below 16 years of age (with supervision).
- The nature of these tours is that we are exploring the unknown supernatural forces that may exist in the field. No responsibility is taken for fear-based injury or spiritual attachments.
- Education will be provided by OPT on energetic protection and investigation methodologies.
- If you feel uncomfortable in any way on the tour, please tell your lead investigator. OPT staff will look after you.
- Aboriginals and Torres Straight Islanders are advise/ warned that tour may contain stories, images and/or visuals of deceased persons.
11. Waiver of Liability
- Outback Paranormal Tours, visit haunted, historic locations that may include stairs, dark alleyways, rocks, loose gravel and other hazards.
- Outback Paranormal Tours hold Public Liability Insurance and ensure all care is taken for your safety during the tour, however, by purchasing a ticket you agree that you voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident, death, loss, cost or damage to your person or property and you release the operator, Outback Paranormal Tours and booking agents from any and all liability resulting from the negligence of the tour and its owners, officers, employees or agents.
- You agree to indemnify and hold Outback Paranormal Tours, the tour operator and its owners, officers, employees and agents harmless from and against any liability resulting from the negligence of the tour operator, Outback Paranormal Tours and its owner, employees, volunteers or agents. This indemnification obligation shall not include the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of Outback Paranormal Tours, the venue and/or its owners, officers, employees or agents.
- You certify that you are in good physical health and able to undertake and engage in the range of tour activities in which you choose to participate.
- This waiver, release and indemnification agreement includes, without limitation, all injuries which may occur because of (a) use of all amenities and equipment in the venue and your participation in any activity, (b) sudden unforeseen malfunctioning of any equipment and (c) slipping or falling while in the venue or on the venue premises, including adjacent sidewalks and parking areas.
- You acknowledge that you have carefully read this waiver, release and indemnification agreement and fully understand that it is a release of liability.
- For yourself and your heirs, executors and assigns you acknowledge and agree that you have been fully informed of and acknowledge, assume and accept the risks inherent in attending a Outback Paranormal Tours event.
12. Privacy Policy
- Customer details will not be shared with any third parties.
- When purchasing a ticket, your email address will be added to our database. Newsletters will be sent from time to time. You may choose to unsubscribe from the newsletter and be removed from the database at any time.
- Credit card details are not stored in our database.
13. Tour Operator
- All Tours are run by Jillian Blackburn (ABN 58 279 302 536) trading as Outback
